A grave dating from the Naqada III period (c. 3300-3000 BCE), the last phase of predynastic Egypt. The ancient Egyptian individual buried within the tomb, an adult woman, is again flanked by containers and pots — grave goods like those recovered from old “Berber” burials in the Horn region.
